Where are you located?

Coombabah, Gold Coast

Collection address and time will be sent to you at time of booking. 
You will also receive a text message 7 days prior to your collection date with the collection information attached.

Question 3

Do you deliver?

Accepted Answer

Unfortunately, as I do not have any staff or use a delivery service, I am unable to deliver for single tiered cakes or cupcakes.

However, large two-tiered cakes do require delivery and something we will be able to provide.

Brides and grooms to be, do not panic, all wedding cakes will also have delivery available.

Can you copy another cake design?

No,

All my cakes are thoughtfully designed for each client and their event. Inspiration photos are a great tool to help me visualize your idea, but I cannot copy another baker's work. I will however use some important ideas from inspirations photos and re-design them for your cake.

When filling in the form, please note all the important details you would like the cake to have.

Can you do fondant cakes?

No,

Unfortunately I do not specialize in fondant cakes. All my cakes are made out of buttercream, I may add small fondant detailing to your cake but I cannot make the whole cake out of fondant.

Do you accommodate dietary requirements?

Accepted Answer

No,

Unfortunately, I am unable to accommodate any dietary requirements. All cakes are made in a kitchen that handles soy, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, milk, eggs, dairy and shellfish.

All our cakes are covered in a silky-smooth Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

Question 7

Can I cancel my order?

Yes,

However your deposit is non-refundable. If the customer wants to cancel the order, the customer must advise in writing to cakecrumbz@outlook.com  and do so at least 10 days prior to the pick up or delivery date.

Paying a deposit OR paying your order in full means that you accept all terms and conditions

Your non-refundable booking fee covers the following:
- Securing your date - and turning away other business on your date
-Time spent on administration tasks such as quoting, email responses, phone calls, invoicing and billing, bookkeeping/ accounting costs etc.

Please note, If items for your order have been purchased prior to your cancellation request, then this will be factored into your refund. final cost.

Alternatively, we do recommend a store credit.

Question 8

Do you require a deposit?

Yes.

Once the quote has been sent through a 30% deposit is required at time of booking to secure your chosen date. If the deposit is not paid within 72 hours, you risk losing your date.

Full payment is due 7 days prior to your collection date.

Question 9

How much notice do you require?

Accepted Answer

Please try to book your celebration cakes in advance as weekend availability does book out quickly.

Custom cakes do require a minimum 2 weeks' notice whilst retro cakes require a minimum 3 days' notice.

Last day to order for the weekend is TUESDAY 5:00pm - unless fully booked!

What is the difference between cake 'layers' & 'tiers'?

Cake layers are the individual, flat cake section that are baked and then stacked together with buttercream filling between.

Cake Tiers are are whole cakes with layers, while multi-tiered cakes include multiple stacked cakes of various sizes.

What are your pick up hours?

Accepted Answer

Our collection windows are;

Thursday - 10:00am - 2:00pm
Friday - 1:00pm - 2:00pm & 4:00pm - 5:00pm 
Saturday - 9:00am - 9:30am

We are closed Sundays - Wednesday for celebration cakes

Wedding cakes are available to book Monday - Sunday

Do you offer tasting boxes?

No,

I currently do not offer tasting boxes. However, I do offer cake tubs which are a great way to try our flavours.

Please fill in the wedding cake enquiry form and leave a note at the bottom of the page, asking about our cake tubs.

$10.00 per tub, serves 1-2
